AlertHouston – Expect an Increase in Emergency Vehicles near Tully as Agencies Stage for the Hurricane Harvey Response

As part of the emergency response related to Hurricane Harvey, the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC) will establish a staging area for emergency vehicles and personnel at 5:00pm today at Darrel Tully Stadium in west Houston (1050 Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77079 – Near Dairy Ashford and I-10 East).

Residents in the area will see an increase in emergency and military vehicles in the area, and shouldn’t be alarmed.  The presence of these vehicles may cause traffic around Dairy Ashford Road between Memorial Drive and I-10.

These assets are part of a statewide response and are being staged in Houston so they can quickly respond to requests for assistance throughout the entire region.

If possible, please avoid the area and find an alternate route. This will ensure that life-saving emergency response assets can be quickly dispatched when needed.
